Manny Ramjohn Stadium sits on the spot of the former Union Park Racetrack in Marabella, and was named after the Gasparillo athletics legend, Manny Ramjohn.
The stadium was one of four similar venues constructed in the year 2000 for the 2001 FIFA Under-17 World Cup in Trinidad and Tobago.
Manny Ramjohn Stadium has been used as a home base by several organisations, especially for football. This includes TT Premier Football League’s Club Sando, and south-based school football teams Presentation College, Naparima College, St. Benedict’s College and Pleasantville Secondary.
The Stadium can seat up to 10,000 spectators, including 5,000 in the covered stands.
